Security Policy

We use the Internet standard encryption technology known as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This technology works by scrambling and encrypting all sensitive information into a highly indecipherable code.

Handing over your credit card details online using SSL is safer than using the telephone, fax or mail and even safer than personally handing it to a waiter in a restaurant or the gas station clerk at an all-night station. This is because with SSL, only your machine and our secure server have the keys required to decode the encrypted data.

When you have finished shopping and begin the checkout process, you will move into the secure area of our site. Once you've entered, the page address (URL) will change from 'HTTP' to 'HTTPS' and a closed lock or a key will appear at the bottom of the screen. You will remain in this secure zone for the entire checkout process.

SHUKR takes privacy very seriously. We respect your privacy and under no circumstances will we sell, rent, or loan personal information about our customers to third parties for e-mail marketing.

We do ask for your email contact address to inform you of our latest offers and promotions. You will have the opportunity to opt out of this membership list if you so desire at any stage in the future by simply replying to any of our emails stating that you wish to unsubscribe from our membership list.

SMS/Text Message Marketing

If you provide your phone number and opt in to receive text messages, SHUKR will use this information to send you marketing communications such as new arrivals, promotions, and exclusive offers, as well as order and shipping updates if applicable. We do not sell, rent, or loan your phone number to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Consent to receive SMS marketing is not a condition of any purchase.
